ABOUT MY WORK
As a young hunter, I have always done my own basic taxidermy work from turkey fans to skull mounts. I was ready to learn in 2013 and began with mounting my own Wood Duck. It turned out terrible, but the process was amazing to me. I quickly moved to deer and joined my state association. In June of 2013, I won a 1st Place with my 7th deer mount and was hooked on competing. Competition gives me a better end product for my customers as the learning process is at a much higher level than commercial taxidermy.
I have traveled to Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky and Iowa, joining state associations, learning and competing. I have won multiple awards including Best Professional Waterfowl in 5 states. I have trained at conventions and private classes with World Champion Taxidermists to bring you the best work I possibly can.
I have grown my shop on three separate occasions to be able to accommodate my ever-increasing workload. I serve clients from all over Florida and Georgia but have shipped mounts all over the country. I enjoy the process from beginning to end and always like the joy I strive to bring my customers.
I too as a young hunter chose my taxidermist based on price. The mounts that I received have all been remounted or thrown away because the quality was terrible. I have learned over the years that in this industry, you truly get what you pay for. I have never and will never require deposits on my work. In coming from the construction industry, I don't get paid for a job until it is complete, and I have carried that through this business.
